Big Lake State Park

This park is defined by its 625-acre oxbow lake and its proximity to the Missouri River. This is an ideal place for fishing and bird-watching, and a boat launch provides access to the lake. Campsites, camper cabins and a reservable shelter are also available.

The park is located along Route 111, 11 miles southwest of Mound City in Holt County.
