Historic Downtown Lebanon

An eye-level shot shows the downtown area of Lebanon, Missouri, on a bright, sunny day. A large, black metal arch spans across a wide, gray asphalt street, with the words "LEBANON," "OUR TOWN YOUR TOWN," and "EST. 1849" written on it. Behind it is another smaller, similar arch with the word "DOWNTOWN" on it. On the right side of the street is a two-story, tan brick building with several windows and a green sign that reads "COMMERCIAL ST" and "JEFFERSON." A white car is parked on the left side of the street, and a black SUV is driving toward the camera. The sky is a vibrant blue, filled with fluffy, white clouds.

Established in the late 1800’s to bring commercial activity closer to the railroad, Downtown Lebanon offers a variety of unique shops, restaurants, financial institutions, historical buildings and Lebanon’s Farmers Market. Events in the downtown area such as First Friday, Downtown Cruise-In and Christmas on Commercial are always family friendly and free to attend. There is also ample free parking either in our large commercial parking lots or directly in the Downtown area.
